Once upon a time, there was a girl named Emily who had just started college. She was a bright and ambitious young woman, but she had never been in love before. That is, until she met Daniel. Daniel was charming, confident, and had a smile that could light up a room. Emily was smitten from the moment she laid eyes on him. They started dating and it wasn't long before they were inseparable. But as time went on, Emily began to notice some things about Daniel that bothered her. He was often late for their dates, and sometimes he would cancel at the last minute. He also seemed to have a wandering eye, checking out other girls even when Emily was right there beside him. Emily started to feel like she was second best, like Daniel wasn't really that into her. But whenever she tried to talk to him about it, he would charm her with his smile and she would forget all about her doubts. Things came to a head one night when Emily went to surprise Daniel at his apartment. She walked in to fin
See, Write, and Post-it. Our eyes see and record every memory that goes on in life.
In other words, I just go on through my days without any plan ahead and doing all sort of thing on the spot. And sometimes I felt like it is so messy in my head like I don't know what I want to do.
I am trying to be an organised person, but sometimes it's tough to organise my daily routine. So if you want to know how to be an organised person, you have to keep it a habit and practice it.
I've been followed every tip and the right way to be more productive. But, sometimes, there are one day or two days a week, or even the whole week, where I had to cancel a plan or completely just do everything without plan B.
At that time, I realise that it is so important to be organised. We all were not born naturally as an organised person, it was build from the habit and practices.
So, how to start organising?
How to start organising again for 2021?
1. Write things down
The first step, none other than anything, is writing down on a small note. The first practice I've been using since I was in school is writing everything in a small book. Like the teacher's name, my friend's birthday, my homework lists, and the chores my mom asked me to do, I write everything. If you keep this practice every day, you realise that you become more organised.
2. Schedule and Deadlines
Being old is not an excuse for you to not make any schedule. Who cares if your age is 20, 30, 40, or 50 or more. A scheduler is not only for a student; it is for everyone. Therefore, our age is not an excuse for not having any planner schedule. On the contrary, it makes your life simpler; you can target the deadlines of any of your work that has to be done.
3. Don't put so much stress
Sometimes, those who were too organised were panicking if their target isn't achievable. I hated it when my plan is ruined. Once my plan is not going well with what I had planned earlier, I don't have the mood to continue my next project or any works ahead. Stop being a perfectionist. Sometimes, a plan isn't perfect, but it's not a reason to stress over. We had 365 or 366 days in a year; it will always have a chance to make a day better than before. So, don't get too much stressed if the plan you organised isn't going well on a day.
4. Stop procrastinate
Don't wait and start doing it. The longer you waited, the longer you dragged the time, and you will waste so much thing to do. If you had a plan to do, then start writing it down, don't let your mood control you. Keep going on doing the things that you suppose to do—procrastinating delays your progress to be more organised.
5. Self-discipline
Always keep yourself to be disciplined. Teach yourself the importance of discipline in life. There's a quote saying "discipline is the bridge between goals and accomplishment" by Jim Rohn. If you want to achieve certain levels of organised lifestyle, you had to put more on your discipline. Even if you are an intelligent person and had so much talent, but if you put aside self-discipline, you may get your goals, but it will take a long time, and you had wasted a lot of things that you could do.
